It is an incredible honor for Standish Humane Society to celebrate a full DECADE of partnership with Planet Subaru donating over $300,000 to our shelter! We are continually blown away by your generosity. Just last year, with your support, we spayed, neutered, and placed over 600 animals. In the last decade, that number exceeds 5,000, including Tater Tot, BuddySnuffles, and Simba! And your support is so much deeper than just financial. Your customers adopt our animals when you regularly open your showroom for adoption events and Standish fundraisers, including pet photos with Santa. You collect food and supply donations from customers. You use your advertising promote our projects. Your team members show up in new Subaru “waggins” to volunteer at our Doggiepalooza. You even hired one of our longtime board members, Klaire Perkins, as a salesperson and later promoted her to manager! Thank you for being our BIGGEST supporter and believing in our mission. With the contributions, Standish provides low-cost spay and neuters to reduce the overpopulation of felines and canines on the South Shore. We actively trap, neuter, feed and assess feral community cat colonies to reduce the overpopulation and suffering of outdoor kitties. We rescue, rehabilitate, and place adoptable cats and kittens in loving forever homes. We transport cats and kittens from high-kill shelters to our area with higher demand for pets. We also provide reduced-cost spay and neuter services for canines and assist with foster programs for dogs from out of state. The Share The Love Campaign has been a literal life saver for so many cats and dogs in need, and we couldn’t do it without Planet Subaru!
